In this Day of the Dead-inspired stirred cocktail, Mexican flavors and a dose of cold brew bolster the banana, chocolate, cinnamon, and coffee notes in Brazilian barrel-aged cachaça.
Caveira Cocktail
Yield: 1 cocktail
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces Novo Fogo Barrel-Aged Cachaça
1/2 ounce Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur
1/2 ounce cold brew coffee
1/4 ounce cinnamon syrup
2 dashes Scrappy’s Aromatic Bitters
Directions
In a mixing glass, stir ingredients with ice to chill. Strain into coupe or other stemmed glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
