The Carlsberg Cabin: An Off-Grid, Waterfall-Powered Pub
Carlsberg, the Danish lager brand, has created the world’s ‘first’ waterfall-powered pub in the British countryside of Kudhva - giving AirBnB users a chance to book a stay in the ultimate beer lovers getaway.
‘The Carlsberg Cabin’ has been built in the Danish way, looking to target people who are looking to escape modern life - but still like drinking beer. Using hydro and solar powered technology in the pub, the entire cabin was built in seven days, using only sustainable and locally sourced materials, by six strangers.
The Carlsberg brand has documented the build in a series of online films that show how the six strangers learn about hygge, "the Danish ritual of enjoying life’s pleasures".
For a limited time only, guests who book their stay on AirBnB, the off-grid bar will come pre-stocked with Carlsberg Export beer.
